Join us with our first ever session on deciphering all things poetry…
We will be exploring themes of belonging, displacement, familial love, desire and identity.
Guiding us in our discussion will be the phenomenal poetry by June Jordan, Warsan Shire and Ysra Daley-Ward ᢉ𐭩
All participants will receive a PDF copy of the selected poems + a La Cami literacy goodie bag ❤︎
Please note no prior knowledge of the texts or poets is needed.
All that is required is an eagerness to decipher and discuss with the group!

Accessibility
The front half of our bar - including the entrance, bathroom, bar area, and several tables is wheelchair accessible, thanks to your support in helping us make that possible. Please note that access to the rear section of the venue and the garden involves three steps. A handrail is installed to assist those with limited mobility, though this area is not currently wheelchair accessible. If you have any accessibility needs, feel free to mention them when booking or email us at info@lacamionera.com — we’ll do our best to support you and make your visit comfortable.
