Queer Regency Dance Workshops
Ever wondered what it would be like to live in a Jane Austen novel? Come and try out Regency dancing in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
No dance experience needed. Whether you’re brand new to dancing or a seasoned pro, you’ll be guided through each dance with clear, friendly instruction and time to practise before the music sweeps you away.
Workshops held in the Weston Research Space at The Dance Space - a fully-accessible, state-of-the-art venue. We are specifically looking to make our events accessible to everyone in our community and would love for people with different bodies and abilities to attend. Tickets are on a donation basis as we are raising funds for our next ball on 30th October - all proceeds from these workshops will go towards covering our running costs and bringing a touch of Regency splendour to the LGBTQ+ community in Brighton.
