A night of new writing, new directors, new actors and work that’s still finding its shape. Come join us for our first queer scratch night! We are bringing writers, actors, directors and audiences together to experiment, play and see what happens when new work gets into the room.
We’ll be sharing a selection of 10-minute plays, each rehearsed on the day by actors and directors from our growing creative pool. Expect new stories, bold ideas, weird worlds and plenty of room for things to surprise us.
This is about giving artists the space, time and people to play, experiment and connect. We’re building a supportive, collaborative environment where writers, actors and directors can take creative risks, meet new collaborators and try something out in front of an audience.

Writers: We’re currently accepting 10-minute scripts. Your work doesn’t need to be finished or perfect, just something you want to explore. Apply here by the 9th October
Actors: We’re building a pool of actors to work with both upcoming and established directors across our scratch nights. You’ll get the chance to stretch your practice, try something new and meet other theatre-makers. Apply here by the 16thOctober

This is a volunteer-led pilot, so participation is unpaid. We’re being transparent about this from the outset while working to create a space that genuinely values the time and contribution of everyone involved.
