The Court of Cards: Group Reading: A chance to ask your question to the living Tarot, when a card is pulled we hear the answer from whoever holds that card, whatever they have to say is what the card has to say, no Tarot knowledge required

๐ด Your Assignment: Upon securing your place at court you will be allocated a card from the Tarot deck. This is your identity for the night butโฆ
Don't fretโฆyou don't have to know ANYTHING about the card, or act or pretend or improvise, by coming dressed up (as much as you like), and just being yourself, you are doing all that is required. If you want to lean in or research then please do, but don't be nervous about your โroleโ, you are already everything you need to beโฆ alsoโฆ
Don't worryโฆ if it seems like you have a โnegativeโ card, the card is not a diagnosis or judgement of you personally, it's a โmaskโ you are to play at Court by simply being there and doing whatever you do or say, job done!
Every card is a doorway, a secret to be learned.
๐ญ The Costume: We strongly invite you to arrive in a costume that reflects your assigned card. How you present yourself is part of your contribution, if dressing up is not your thing, that's fine also, but do give some nod to the card, bring a some small props or items that seem to fit. The Court is a space of transformation; be foolish, be fun, be deep, be dark, be magical, it is your playground to enjoy.

To ensure this space remains accessible, a space of agency and consent, we reject standard ticket pricing models.
Your Best Pound is an evolving system being Championed by the Art is Hungry, Baphomet's Book Club, and a growing cabal of folx who want to change the way we valueโฆ value! Be that artistry, products, skills, time, or anything else we exchange!
Entry is ยฃ1. How much you contribute beyond that is your personal choice, based on:
- The value you feel you receive at the event
- What you can honestly give without impacting your own quality of life
- The magic that happens when people invest in something and have the high expectations that go with that
Some of us can pay ยฃ33, ยฃ56, ยฃ78 quidโฆ without worrying, is that you? If so then give that amount when buying your ticket, 'how much?' you sayโฆ.what you'd normally pay for a night at the theatre, the cinema, the opera; it's your Best Pound! And then if the show is really amazingโฆ buy plenty of raffle tickets on the night to give homage to the artists that have created the spectacle for youโฆ and with you!
And tip at the bar too, there's more than just pulling a pint that goes into hosting a bar!
