Princxss & Jester Hat Workshop
Hear Ye, Hear Ye,
All ye fair royalty and jesters (both welcome), are cordially invited to thy Sxc Scraps medieval Princxss and Jester Hat Workshoppe.
Choose thy inclination: shall ye be spookye? Mayhaps gothique! Frilly or faire? All dastardly ideas shall be brought henceforth by thyselves.
Beginner crafter here? Never fear! Crafty divas of all levels shall unite.
Medieval garb encouraged, however fear not the stocks for lack of garb, our executioner has a day off.
Materials: All trims, ribbons, bits & bobs be provided, thou art encouraged to bring any 2nd hand trinkets, or broken jewellery to add for maximum (see chainmail escoffion above)!
Thy Host: Sxc Scraps is but a sewist of many-a-year (ten-and-eight to be precise), and a teacher of sewing & sustainability running classes and workshoppes for all ages and skill levels. Thy Sxc Scraps Mission: saving as much textile waste from going to landfill as possible - through crafty and 2nd hand material upcycling.
QueerSwap Studio is wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilet located on ground floor at main reception of building. Tea and coffee are available, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or drinks into the studio. Please refrain from bringing nuts or shellfish. QueerSwap Studio is a non-profit community creative space. All proceeds for this activity go to the facilitator.
