As the nights draw in and the leaves flounce off the trees, let's comfort ourselves with a more autumnal selection of wines. The lineup this time is (loosely and optimistically) unified by featuring ‘notes of spice’ - expect notes of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper… as well as a general unplaceable notion of ‘spice’. As ever, I'm not trying these wines any earlier than you folks, so we'll find out together just how spice-y they think they are. Regardless, we'll be tasting some pretty special stuff. Note that this is a super-sized super-sociable standing tasting, so we can fit more of you in and keep the price down. (If standing for a couple of hours is Too Much, there will be chairs available for those who need them!)
QWC is strictly not for profit. 100% of your ticket price goes towards the wine being tasted (and some snacks!). Our (gay) agenda is to ensure that there’s no better value way to taste properly excellent wine in London - to make the great wines of the world accessible and inclusive for the queer community.
Tastings include a selection of fine wines chosen on a loose theme, each accompanied with plenty of background and chat, with some light snacks (so do eat beforehand). The wines will be confirmed and bought within about 72 hours of the tasting, so strictly no refunds after this point.
