Hello hello dykes of all kinds!
Join us for an intermediate Shibari workshop with the amazing Lauren (IG: @bishylauren)!
This session is designed for those who already have some experience with Shibari and are ready to build on their existing rope skills.
During this workshop, Lauren will guide you through three more advanced ties:
- TK (Takate Kote)
- Tengu
- Futomomo
We'll explore the techniques behind these ties, focusing on rope placement, tension, safety, and communication between tying partners.
✨ Experience required
This is an intermediate-level workshop, so attendees must already be confident tying both single-column and double-column ties.
If you've attended one of our beginner workshops and feel comfortable with these foundational techniques, this is your chance to take your rope skills to the next level!
🕕 Workshop timings
We'll have access to the venue from 8pm, with the workshop running from 8pm–9:45pm.
We recommend arriving at 7:50pm to find your spot, get settled, and take a little breather before we begin.
🧶 What to bring
Bring your friend or partner, or get paired up with someone at the workshop! Please remember that each person attending will need their own ticket.
Bring your water bottle and comfortable clothing (we recommend avoiding anything too loose-fitting for rope).
We'll be in a dance studio with yoga mats, but if you're able to carry one, we encourage bringing a pillow to sit on, and even a blanket for a little extra cosiness.
Our space
This workshop is a space for dykes of all kinds, and a large part of our community is genderqueer. There is absolutely no space for transphobia or discrimination of any kind.
We're excited to welcome you for another session of rope, connection, creativity, and learning!
