It's official! We are launching Ballers Against Bigots.
Our aim is to bring the grassroots football community in London, Cambridge, and beyond, together. The Supreme Court ruling has really messed up grassroots sport for many of us. Ballers Against Bigots creates spaces, matches, tournaments, and events, for people who refuse to participate in a sport predicated on trans exclusion.
Ballers Against Bigots is also a fundraising vehicle. We aim to use football tournaments and other events to raise money for community-led projects centering queer, trans, and BIPOC communities.
Join us for an evening of chats, music, and meeting other footy teams and fans. We will also be selling merch!
All profits from ticket sales and merch sales will be donated to Black Trans Alliance and Trans Legal Clinic.
This is a Pelican House Social Club event. By getting a ticket, you are registering to attend β this will automatically sign you up as a member (for free), and means you can buy drinks at the bar.
