LGBT+ Side & Queer Nature Club present
Nature by Night
Wednesday 28th October 2026, 6-8pm
How do moths reproduce? Why are they attracted to light? Are bats queer? Do sleeping birds dream?
A relaxed evening session exploring the queer and curious worlds of nocturnal animals and insects, with LGBT+ Side and Daniel Baker-Wells, artist, filmmaker and founder of Queer Nature Club South West.
Through a local walk / wheel, discussion and creative writing we'll explore ideas of queerness in nature, and the extraordinary, mysterious lives of 'more than human' beings all around at night.
A relaxed, informal, creative session, with no previous experience required.
