Witchy woodland walk – Tring
This Samhain/Halloween, come on a chilled, small group walk with like minded queer folks looking to connect with community in nature. This month we’re going for a walk around the beautiful woods near Tring, Hertfordshire, to see autumn in all its glorious colours, pocket some conkers, and hear stories of local “witches” and the legacy of the witch hunts. Well behaved dogs are very welcome!
Once you get your ticket, please click the link to join the walk Whatsapp group (look out for a separate confirmation email). I'll share important info and travel updates there.
* Improver walks are for people who have experience of half-day walks and want to try a longer day walk that involves a few more hills. The pace may vary but I’ll make sure everyone is comfortable. The idea is to have a chilled time connecting with nature and enjoying the journey together - not ‘smashing the hike' as fast as possible. Snack breaks and pauses to marvel at nature are encouraged!
Any questions or if you've missed out on a ‘pay what you can’ ticket and are unwaged/a carer/can't afford a ticket, let me know and if there's still space, I'll ping you a free ticket - outtohike@gmail.com
Don't forget to follow @outtohike for info about future walks!
