Digging: zine-making against techno-facism
In person on Sundays 8 and 29 Nov | 13:00 - 15:00 | The Feminist Library
We are pleased to announce our two-part workshop series: digging & hungering at the Feminist Library.
8 Nov: Digging: zine-making against techno-facism is a creative workshop using scraps and fragments of archival material as a jumping-off point for thinking about the radical potential of community media in a time of rising techno-fascism and AI. No prior zine-making experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.
29 Nov: Hungering: queering the archive through writing and imagining is a creative writing and imagining workshop where we will write into the margins of queer texts, and collectively compose a set of objects and memories (real and ‘fabulated’) that we might place in an imagined queer archive.
About the facilitators
Facilitated by publisher/editor, Tatevik Sargsyan of Anamot Press and writer/researcher, Leah Cowan. Their collaborative work explores queer social history, poetry and the radical, creative potential of archives.
