Community crafting for LGBTIAQ+ young adults living with and beyond cancer
Sunday 6th December | 2-4pm
This event is running in partnership with OUTpatients, the UK's LGBTIQ+ cancer charity.
If you're a queer young adult living with or beyond cancer, please join us for a relaxed afternoon of crafting and a cuppa! No crafting skills are required. We'll provide materials for collaging and badge-making but you're welcome to bring any other bits and bobs you'd like. Whether you come solo or bring a +1, we're very excited to welcome you into the space!
What is Queer Cancer Club?
Queer Cancer Club is a patient-led community space for LGBTIAQ+ young adults living with and beyond cancer.

What to expect:
Bring a +1
- +1's are welcome!
- They must be 18+ and they will need a ticket to attend
- +1's do not need to be LGBTIAQ+ or be living with/ beyond cancer
Accessibility
Queer Britain is fully accessible for wheelchair users. There is a ramp to access the front door and there is a lift to access the downstairs Studio Space (where the event will be held). If your wheelchair is wider than 89.5 cm please contact us or the venue directly.
Addition access info:
- The venue has a fully accessible gender-neutral bathroom
- Service, assistance, and emotional support animals are welcome in the venue
- Friendly volunteers will be available for any assistance you may need (volunteers will be LGBTIAQ+)
- If you need a breather or a wander around, the museum will be open to explore during the event

- Unfortunately, we do not have access to a prayer room or quiet space - Please find nearby prayer rooms here
- We can support travel for those with accessibility needs, please reach out <3
