CFC XMAS FUNDRAISER
We're returning to Avalon Cafe on Friday 18th December for the third year running! We'll be raising vital funds for Calais Food Collective's work at the UK-France border. After a succession of heatwaves where demand for water was higher than ever, a summer of stretched capacity on the ground, and ongoing difficulties with our vans, we need your support to close the year and see us into the next one.
Doors will be open from 7pm and we’ll kick off with some live music before DJ sets until late. As always, we'll be selling CFC merchandise on the door (perfect for a last min christmas present). While we do offer accessible ticket pricing for those who need it, all money from ticket sales goes directly towards our solidarity work in Calais so please give generously along the sliding scale if you can! Our recommended ticket price is £15.
No one turned away for lack of funds - send us a message on Instagram if you would like to come but can’t due to financial barriers. See you and your friends on Friday 18th for a last dance before Christmas! If you can’t come to the event but would still like to support our work, please consider donating to (or sharing) our crowdfunder raising money to cover the reserves spent over the hot summer:
