London has plenty of lesbian (FLINTA) events, but none quite like this one. 🌈
Join us for a cosy Sunday brunch in an independent café, full of FLINTA folx, great food and the kind of conversations you actually want to be part of.
We know it can be really hard to meet new queer mates in London, especially south of the river.
We heard you say you want more relaxed, booze-free events, outside the usual pub and club scene.
We get it, we got you.
What to expect at this festive 🎄queer brunch:
- Cosy and calm. A quiet, café with natural light, where you can actually hear each other talk.
- Good food, good value. Fresh, homemade brunch, lunch or cakes and bakes too. Prices from £4.50 and coffee from £1.95. Dietary needs catered for, too.
- Zero pressure. Hungry? Order when you like, then tuck in. Just fancy a coffee and a natter? All good too.
- Your first drink’s on us. It’s included with your ticket, so you can settle in with something warm.
- Inclusive, FLINTA+ focused. Specifically for queer (lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans+ community) people tp connect. Allies are absolutely welcome too, providing inclusivity and safety remains a priority.
- Come solo or bring a friend. Loads of people come on their own, so you won’t be the only one. It’s a lovely first LSW id you're new, or a perfect one to re-visit if you've joined us before.
- Meeting people is easy. We’ll shuffle the seating and share conversation starters, so you’ll chat with lots of lovely new faces. Perfect if you're looking for new mates or maybe a date…
- Wear something festive. Sequins, a jumper, a silly hat, whatever feels fun 🎅
- Only 30 tickets. Small on purpose, so you can have proper conversations. Grab yours before they go!
What's LSW all about?
I’m Hannah, the organiser of LSW events. When I moved to London in 2022, I quickly learned that making queer friends here can mean a lot of travelling east. After one too many hour-long journeys, I looked out my window in Tooting, saw queers everywhere, and thought: why not start my own?
My first social was an accidental big lesbian pub garden takeover, and it was brilliant. Some of my closest friends came from that day, and the community has been growing ever since. Since 2023, our events have led to friendships, dates, hook-ups, sports teams, craft groups, bandmates and more.
London can be loud and busy, and the queer scene can feel intimidating. LSW is the antidote: all about community, connection and conversation. We pick quieter, cosier venues so you can actually hear each other talk and meet people south of the river, without the long trek or the big bill.
So come and join us for brunch at Joy Café, where the food is genuinely fantastic and the connections might just change your social or dating life. 🧡

Tickets: £8 for early birds and two's a crowd, £10 full price. Ticket includes a hot or cold drink on arrival. (Food is optional on a PAYG basis).
