Try your hand at making a concertina style book!
Come and relax in our homey studio and learn simple techniques to make your own book.
Concertina books have been used throughout history as an alternative way to display images and text that flow from one page to the next.
The advantage of this type of book is that it can accomodate longer form writing and/or illustrations that might go over several pages, or as a way to display your sketches or creative ideas.
In this workshop you will choose your book size, decorate your own book cover, construct your book and learn how to do it again at home.
All materials will be provided, however you are welcome to bring a pencil, ruler, cutting knife, or any drawing, painting or decoration medium that you like to use.
This is a great workshop for creating a lovely gift or a beautiful sketch book for yourself.
