After the resounding success of the first and second Scottish Trans Pride events in Edinburgh & Dundee respectively, Trans Pride Scotland has chosen to travel west to Paisley for the next event, which will be on Saturday 28th March 2020. This is the closest weekend to International Trans Day of Visibility, a day of recognition for the global trans community.
Trans Pride Scotland aims to celebrate all trans identities in Scotland and fight discrimination by raising awareness and being visible. Our event is also open to families, friends and allies!
On the 28th March, we will begin congregating at County Square right outside Paisley Gilmour Street around 12:00 and the march will begin at 12:30, ending at Paisley Student Union for an afternoon of socialising, stalls, workshops and entertainment.
Both the Pride March and indoor activities at Paisley Student Union are free to attend, alcohol-free and family-friendly. The march is dog friendly but only service dogs are allowed in the Student Union. There are dog friendly venues nearby the Union though. (be aware some workshops have age suggestions)
