Learn the art of lip-sync with the mistress of mouthing, Me!
A 6 week intensive course exploring the use of lip sync in performance. Open to any and all performers, we will be exploring everything from technique to concept, make up to music choice.
Each week will involve a practical workshop followed by group sharing, feedback and development.
This course is ideal for beginners and early career artists as well as established artists looking to explore a new skill or hone their existing craft.
Please note that this course will require participants to prepare material for each week in order to get the most out of the experience.
With a career spanning 11 years, several continents and multiple performance disciplines, Me has mentored (through her iconic Not Another Drag Competition) many of the finest lip-syncing talents on the UK scene including Cheryl Hole, Chiyo, HERR, Tayce and Mark Anthony. She has also provided lip sync workshops to the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts as well as being the regular lip sync expert on Michael Twaits ‘The Art of Drag’ Course
The studio is a one minute walk from Hackney Wick Station
Access to the studio is via 2 flights of stairs.
