It's time to bring your 'house' to the Bingo ball
Get on your best lewks and walk the runway in your living room or lip-sync down the garden path as we get practicing for our return to the clubs, even if we have to wait 100 years!
We've had over 700 contestants while all socially distancing. Some people are still very vulnerable and even though we are currently in a state of protest, it's important to protect yourself and each other. Build your social bubbles up again slowly and wear a mask where you can. This week is the countdown to pride weekend and we refuse to let social distancing stop the parties. You can play with your camera on or off, you can play inside or outside, in the park or in your basement...as long as you have the internet.
YES! your 'house' and everyone in it is invited to take part. There will be countless categories for you to compete in, all held together with love, music and bingo games. Each line wins a prize for your house and each category will have a winning house, then as always, the winning houses will battle on the screens with their props and poses for the title of MVP (Most Vivacious Players) as voted for by the rest of the audience.
If you know someone in need of a good time and can't afford a ticket please email us their name and email as we have some free tickets to give away.
We encourage players to donate a percentage of any cash prizes to an LGBTQIA+ charity during pride month, perhaps with a focus on the lives of trans people of colour. eg. https://www.blacktranstravelfund.com/
This week profits after prizes will be donated to The Black Trans Travel Fund.
