On Thursday 10th September there’s a very special event at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern celebrating the history of drag and where it is today in all its many forms.
Join authors Felix Le Freak and Jake Hall in conversation to celebrate the publication of their books Serving Face and The Art of Drag. Explore the glittering worlds of drag as Felix and Jake chat diversity, gender rebels, making noise, and ruling the world, all with a side serving of sequins and shimmer, naturally.
Felix Le Freak is the award-winning cabaret sensation who has performed all over the world including The RVT many times. Jake Hall is a non-binary freelance journalist who has written for British Vogue, Dazed and Confused and many more.
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO BUY BOTH BOOKS AT A DISCOUNT PRICE AT THIS EVENT AND BOTH FELIX AND JAKE WILL BE SIGNING COPIES
Doors open at 7pm, conversation starts at 8pm.
Tickets are £5 each and you can order in tables of 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 plus a small number of single tickets.
The RVT is following the Government’s guidelines on social distancing including full table service.
