After a long lockdown and pause, let's meet again, safely in the open space of nature and the forest and let's get all the benefits and healing powers that nature can offer, we all need it so much after all that has happened!
Following the latest goverment guidance (as per 9th Sep.), only 6 people including myself can gather, even outside, keeping social distance. This won't change the healing and calming experience of Forest Bathing. So let's meet again, safely but eagerly reclaiming all the healing guidance that nature has to offer, in communion with it.
We will meet at a set location at the edge of the amazing Hampstead Heath, we will tune in to the beauty of our surroundings and then we will mindfully walk in the nature, focusing on the sounds, smells and colours around us, immersing ourselves in the here and now. We will follow a less beaten track, discovering hidden gems and places not much visited by people, even in the popular Hampstead Heath. We will do a few standing meditations through visualisation at different spots, surrounded by a circle of trees. We will experience nature with a totally different mindset, being part of it and with an open mind. We will experiment with different exercises, trying to establish a connection with trees, with the ground and looking inwards within our deepest Self. At the end, we will go back to the starting point. You will leave feeling energised, balanced and having experienced London in a totally different way. The whole experience will last around 2 hours, depending on the path we take.
Come rain or shine, warm or cold: Forest Bathing is great in any weather or season, its healing properties are extraordinary no matter the (English!) weather. Don't be put off by a bit of rain or a cold day, it's actually so enriching to experience nature in different conditions, it's part of the fun and above all part of nature. Experiencing nature changing during the seasons and at different weather conditions is absolutely thrilling.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and experience nature together with our LGBTQ+ family.
