A message from Open Barbers:
‘Please join us in celebrating Open Barbers' 10th Birthday! We are a much loved community project who started out as a pop up salon at Bar Wotever in 2011. Over the past 10 years, Open Barbers has grown and evolved into a very special community hair salon, open to all genders, sexualities, hair types and access needs, providing a much needed free, daytime, sober and therapeutic social space. This party celebrates our achievement of reaching 10 years, and some of the many talents among our team and client base, while also financially assisting us to get through the aftermath of the current pandemic. All profits raised from ticket sales and donations go towards our birthday fundraising campaign to reduce our losses in 2021 and maintain our ethos of affordable and accessible to all now and in the future! Help us keep affordable, queer runs spaces alive!’
You will be emailed with the link to the show on the day of the premiere showing. With the premiere showing, there will be interactive chat, and then the video will be up for a week in case you can't make that date and time. There will also be subtitles and audio description.
As this is a fundraiser for Open Barbers, we ask you kindly not to share the link.
