BUDDY WAKEFIELD is our headline act, joining us from across the big wobbly pond!! Buddy is an American spoken-word artist, a 3-time poetry slam world champion & the most toured performance poet in history. His works have been released by Strange Famous Records, Righteous Babe Records, and Write Bloody Publishing.
REECE LYONS is a transgender actress, writer and poet based in London. She's a Roundhouse resident artist where her work has previously gone viral and has been watched by over 4 million people online. Select credits include Overflow (Bush Theatre), HANNA (Amazon Prime) & Life & Rhymes (Sky Arts)
CHRIS WHITE is a poet & submerging artist based in Devon, as well as the founder of Spork! He's a multiple slam winner and in his silly, surreal way often talks about queerness & class.
RHYS SLADE-JONES (aka BOPA RHYS) is our hostess with the most ass; an awarding winning artist, drag queen, theatre-maker & all-round Welsh National Treasure
NYANDA FODAY is a Selfish Poet. She writes poetry about the conversations trapped in her head, exploring what identity means when you seem to have one foot in all the boxes. A former Young Poet Laureate of Birmingham (2016-18) & current final year biology student.
MEGAN BAXTER is a South West poet, the recent recipient of the Dragonfly Prize for Potential from The Magdalena Young Poets' Prize & is currently working as a Creative Community Activist with Strike-A-Light. Her debut chapbook ‘Body in Trouble’ is out this April
