Queer yoga instructor Keresha Florentine will lead us in a gentle Saturday morning yin yoga class online, 10-11am on Saturday 27 November.
This gentle yin yoga practice is led with the intention of grounding us back to our core, helping to quiet down busy background noise in our minds and invite us to connect with our physical body through the lens of non-judgement, compassion and love.
Yin yoga supports balancing out our often busy yang lifestyle whereby we hold our asanas (poses) for a longer length of time, targeting our deepest tissues in the body and enhancing our energy flow throughout our organs.
All asanas are floor based so no need to worry about falling over from the duration! :)
These practices are suitable for all souls despite any previous yoga experience, so all are welcome.
