ABOUT EMMA, YOUR WORKSHOP FACILITATOR
Emma Hayden (she/her) is a queer illustrator based in London, UK.
Originally from Australia, Emma now calls London home and lives with her wife, Alex and their dog, Winnie.
Her illustrations explore themes of body neutrality, mental health and queer identity.
Her work mainly consists of colourful, expressive style portraits - Emma loves experimenting with pattern, various colour palettes and typography to create a message or a narrative in her illustrations.
She also creates cute, tongue-in-cheek, queer centred imagery specifically for her t shirts and apparel designs.
Emma studied art education and has been teaching art and photography in London for 7 years.
In 2019, she opened her online shop; Emma Hayden Art and since has produced work for a number of brands, such as Warner Music, Primark and Youtube.
