Yoga Voice
We are all born with a pure voice capable of sounding authentically without limitation — that's how babies can scream for hours without getting a sore throat! As we grow, our voices are changed by our experiences, our friends and family and our society which often narrows how we express ourselves. The Yoga Voice Series uses yoga and voice techniques to help us rediscover our authentic voices and find the confidence to communicate freely and without fear.
...by Joshua LeClair
Joshua moved from Canada to the UK in 2013 to study how yoga can supplement the three disciplines of musical theatre and artists' mental health and has been fascinated by the overlap of those worlds ever since. Weaving together styles of Vinyasa, Yin, Rocket and Mandala with his knowledge of anatomy, chakras and myofascial meridians, Joshua is happiest when learning something new and implementing it into his teaching.
11th December
Shakti Dance
Get ready to open up your heart chakra! Introducing an energising yoga flow. Enjoy awakening, enlivening movements - just breathe deep and let the wings of your heart fly! Have fun with this all-levels movement class to invigorate and soften your edges. Just get your body moving in all directions, twisting, grooving flowing and glowing!

18th December
Radical Rest for All
Everyone deserves rest! Together we will explore a gentle chair yoga practice to release tension from the neck, shoulders, and back and finish with a guided relaxation called yoga nidra. This can be done sitting or lying down, whichever you prefer. Please bring warm layers, blankets and cushions for comfort and warmth.
...by Gabi Parkham
Equity and justice are fundamental to Gabi’s approach to yoga. Her classes are free from assumptions and emphasise accessibility, consent, and honouring your own body. Gabi is also an LGBTQIA+ equity educator and consultant, supporting yoga teachers to make their classes more welcoming to the LGBTQIA+ community.
✨Unfortunately, the sessions will be happening at The Commons at Glass House which isn't wheelchair accessible. There will be accessible wellbeing sessions in one of our accessible spaces at Glass House soon.
