Heart-centred, kind and respectful touch blesses both the receiver and giver. The nervous system relaxes, the breath deepens, the heart rate slows and we feel connected, calm and quiet.
Many of us can feel deprived of physical contact and touch and yet it is so vital to our wellbeing and happiness. Even if we have a lot of sex, a sensual element to it can be missing; that sweetness of just being held.
In this workshop, we will work together to create a safe space that meets people’s varying need for physical contact with others. No experience necessary.
The session will involve movement, mindful awareness, shared touch and massage and partner and small group exercises. You will remain clothed and each person will get to determine their own boundaries and preferences during the workshop.
Join us and inhabit your body more fully, relaxing into it with deeper compassion, appreciation and contentment.
There will be an opportunity to go for something to eat/drink afterwards.
ANDY is a Tantra Yoga teacher and shiatsu therapist and has been facilitating spaces for gay, bi and queer men to connect from the heart for 5 years. He holds classes and private sessions in London and Brighton and runs several wellbeing retreats for men during the year.
