We are thrilled to announce that Amaroun will be supporting! Amaroun is an up and coming singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Peckham, London. With an eclectic, soulful sound, Amaroun's music is gritty yet uplifting. Growing up in a religious Jamaican-British family, Amaroun fell in love with music throughout her childhood. Finding comfort in the soft grace of the piano keys as well as the strings of her guitar, Amaroun creates music to form lasting connections - whether these be with herself or those around her. Her Debut Album, Mars, is out on the 30th June.
“For Amaroun, music is an outlet: a way of exorcising emotional intensity and embracing her multifaceted identity. Since her debut single, ‘Bed Bugs’, in 2016, Amaroun has used music not only to accept her own identity as a young, Black, queer woman but also to help others find the joy in their identity.
