Queer Space guidelines - who is this event for?
- This event was created to celebrate dyke, lesbian, and/or sapphic queer culture. It's designed for anyone of ANY gender who identifies with these communities, or who wants to explore and learn more about them
- We are a trans-positive space and we do not tolerate transphobia. We will not assume anyone's gender or deny anyone access based on assumptions of their gender
- We are not a gender-specific space but we prioritise people with marginalised gender experiences. If you are a cis man who wants to come, we strongly encourage you to bring along your lesbian, sapphic, trans and/or non-binary friends - help us spread the word!
- We are inclusive of bisexual, pansexual, asexual, etc. identities, and people who might be questioning or exploring
Safety
- Ask people's names and pronouns, please don't assume anyone's gender
- No racism, misogyny, transphobia, fatphobia, xenophobia, ableism, slut-shaming, ageism or any other form of discrimination will be tolerated
- Ask for CONSENT before touching others
