Club Chrome

It’s a queer $trip club, a concert, a rave, and a fundraiser for s3x workers all in one. Club Chrome, an Australian pole dance and creative collective that prioritises BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and s3x worker artists, comes to London this August to serve you a one-night-only performance showcase of collaboration between Australian and UK artists.

Our delectably curated lineup of experimental international and local artists features eight pole dance and movement artists, four DJs, and two live musicians. Our DJs and live musicians will be performing throughout the night, and our dancers will join them on stage in live collaboration.

Proceeds will be donated to Open Doors, a sex worker advice service in East London that supports many queer sex workers. As tickets are priced to cover costs, additional donations to Open Doors are encouraged.

Doors and music start at 8.30pm, pole performances start at 9:00pm. Make sure you arrive early so you don’t miss out on any of these incredible artists.

The Lineup

Movement

Eva Berlin (she/they) (IG: @eva.berlin.x): Eva Berlin is the co-director of Club Chrome and the sultry up-and-coming star of the Sydney queer pole and cabaret world. Eva loves everything bendy, and combines her dynamic acrobatic training with the sensuality of pole dance to seduce and enthral her audience.
Helixx (they/them) (IG: @_h.e.l.i.x.x): Duo consisting of Adam Wells (they/them) (IG: @_adamwells) and Ben Wells (they/them) (IG: @_benwells).
Linhqu (she/they) (IG: @linhqu): Linqu is the founder of Club Chrome (@club.chrome), and is obsessed with a gooey pole flow and playing in the transitional spaces between pole tricks. Her creative practice is intertwined deeply with improvisation, sensuality and collaboration.
Mars (she/they) (IG: @fauxlesbian): Mars is a queer dancer, 4D and movement artist living in East London currently working as a go-go dancer. With a passion for sexual expression and interconnectivity recently integrating pole in their performance work she highlights floor work with an exploration of sensuality and play.
Jaytheystallion (they/them) (IG: jaytheystallion): Jaytheystallion is an enchanting, seductiveness non binary vixen. They are a multidisciplinary dancer, stripper and fetish worker, who's intoxicating movements and erotic gestures will leave you wanting more.
Sedusa Swan (she/her) (IG: @sedusaswan)
Thurman (she/her) (IG: @treacle.matter): Thurman’s pole movement is driven by powerful floorwork and slinky pole tricks. She loves to include the element of surprise in her performances to strike and entertain audiences.

Alaia (he/she/they) (IG: @_aphroditus): Club Bandit (IG: @clubbandit)’s pocket rocket ALAIA is a London-based multidisciplinary artist whose rave melodies span a range of feisty tunes and genre-bending sounds. Expect an eclectic mix of percussive rhythms, rave beats, and other-worldly vibrations.
ĀN JÍ (they/she) (IG: @un_earthing): ĀN JÍ is a musician and digital-based artist who has recently moved to London after spending the last 5 years in Naarm (Melbourne). With symbolism enriched and guided by discoveries through their Chinese heritage, ĀN JÍ explores magic, duality, and stillness. ĀN JÍ alchemises stories from their personal experience with experimental visual and sonic techniques, to create ethereal environments; and an invitation to other realms.
Emily Rose England (she/her) (IG: @emilyroseengland): Founder of the queer femme night Sassitude (IG: @_sassitute_) Emily Rose England takes her dedication to sass VERY seriously. Spinning a speciality of 90s/00s bangers, she’ll take you on a journey of splendour with her tantalising tunes.
Mercedes666 (she/it) (IG: @mercedes666_2) x Malthus (IG: @malthus___) (he/him) (Live): mercedes666 is a queer artist and sex worker working with performance and the digital realm. For her new work, she has collaborated with musician and producer malthus to create a soundscape exploring her position as a sex worker and internet persona in the work obsessed, tech oriented world that we live in. This will be the first live performance of their track “träumend” ('dreaming' in German), which exposes the mundanity and vulnerabilities of mercedes' sex worker status.
Mirasia (she/her) (IG: @mirasia): Exploring the depths between music, dance, and community, Mirasia, formerly known as Kween Kwong, is well regarded as an artist and community leader. She is the Overall Mother and co-founder of The House of Silky, and holds it down as Ballroom Australia (IG: @ballroomaustralia)’s resident DJ. She is also well-known for her skills in performance, music production, and event curation. Mirasia’s recent and up-coming projects span across music production, event development and creation, as well as musical composition and music videos.

Accessibility

Unfortunately VFD is not wheel chair accessible as it is accessed by 12 stairs with a single banister. Once in the basement there are no steps or stairs and there are benches along the space if sitting down is required.
