A collaboration between artists and neuroscientists, 3Syncra is re-imaginging how we perceive our relationships with the Self and with Other. Their debut work, āPlease Donāt Turn Me Off (PDTMO)ā is an immersive exhibition that combines dance theatre, cognitive data visualisation, soundscape and club culture to create synchronicity, connectivity and mental well-being between and of participants. PDTMO considers the impact transhumanist principles and actions have on society in both subtle and overt ways. Showing how the erotic, both as a sexual drive and a philosophical concept, shapes the cultural spheres, the installation plays with the concept of arousal as both a sexual state and a physiological response with the potential for transcendence.
