About Colchester Pride
Colchester Pride is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, under charity number 1193098, and is run by a committee of volunteers, including and supervised by an elected board of trustees.
Our Aims and Objectives
Our key aim is the promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit by:
- staging an annual LGBTQ+ festival and smaller events throughout the year
- the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religion
- advancing education and raising awareness in equality and diversity
- promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds
- cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity
