East and Southeast Asians North East is a QTI (queer trans intersex) led and grassroots community-network-collective centring QTIBIPOC+ (queer trans intersex Black Indigenous People of Colour +) care & intersectional anti-oppression. We are a collective, not a charity or organisation, with a deep valuing of relationships, interconnectedness, mutual aid and solidarity. We were co-founded by two QTI friends with East and Southeast identities and heritage in direct response to the increased racism that ESA people have experienced here in the UK, and worldwide. We resist and oppose racism with an intersectional understanding of oppression, and are working on building international solidarities and strong communities in each of our locations including Asia and the North East England.
