Art-making should be accessible on every level. This includes artists at any stage and from all financial backgrounds. We believe that artists should not have to forego essential skill building practices in order to meet basic living expenses. Le Grys Life Drawing promises to keep its ticket prices as low as possible whilst still paying its workers a fair wage. We recognise that access is not limited to finance, and seek to meet our users needs wherever possible. We aim to challenge conventions through the models we employ by spotlighting POC, LGBTQIA+ and disabled bodies. Le Grys Life Drawing is community based rather than taught, and allots time to discussion and peer feedback. Through the above, we reclaim art-making as a tool for expression and connection.
