Mates Choose Dates is a speed dating event for queer women with a twist… you get to bring along somebody to help you out/do the hard work for you! It takes away those speed dating nerves and gives your mate who always says they can find somebody for you the chance to prove it!
Here's what to expect from a Mates Choose Dates event:
1930: Dates & Mates arrive
1945: Mates meet Dates
2015: Date & Mate debrief - find out which dates your mate rates!
2045: Double dates for Dates & Mates
2130: Rate the dates with your mate
2200: Stick around at the venue for a few drinks with everyone (optional if you have better places to be)
We've got lots of ingenious games and conversation starters up our sleeves to help out Dates & Mates throughout the evening
Dates need to be people who identify as a queer woman.
Mates can be anybody.
