Queer Cinema Club organises bi-monthly events for the LGBTQ+ community and allies to connect over the best in queer cinema.
We celebrate all queer cinema from box office hits to documentaries to shorts, and host talks, discussions and other queer entertainment to accompany screenings.
Organised by Katy and Leon, we aim to create a safe and inclusive space where people can watch films and make friends.
Queer Cinema Club is a safe space with a zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination of any kind.
Previous screenings include: Moonlight, Carol, Rafiki, How To Survive A Plague, Something Must Break, The Handmaiden, and a selection of queer shorts from emerging British talent. Past events include: discussions on representation on screen; HIV and activism from campaigners; Q&A’s with queer filmmakers and actors, and; spoken word performances from queer writers.
