Tahini Molasses is a Cypriot musician and performance artist whose work explores history, nostalgia, and queerness. By reimagining traditional songs and symbols through a trans perspective, they seek to enrich queer representation in their region's cultural memory and imagination. Their debut single, NAZAR, fuses the traditional eastern maqam scale with contemporary electronic music.
