Join visual anthropologist Tamara Hart and artist Pops_Comixs to craft pocket zines in a workshop exploring resistance among ‘mad’ and queer communities.
In this session, we look at how bodies are shaped within cultural imaginaries, using visual archiving as a tool to resist harmful narratives. We begin with our own experiences of shame and pride, re-mixing text and images in playful ways to document the otherwise unheard voices of our communities.
As zine-makers, we become caretakers for our peers, using tenderness as a tool for social action.
