This workshop is designed to explore intersectional LGBTQ+ identities by reflecting on immigration Tier system, visa/ID policies and cross-border experiences.
Joawe Yang will present her stories on the struggles of immigration status and identity shifts in the liminal uncertainties: renting struggles, job-seeking obstacles, marital negotiations, overall hostile environment.
Qiuyan Chen will introduce a brief history of zine-making and its impact as a grassroot medium for self-expression and social activism. Time to create your own zine & share your story too!
