Devin Ibañez is The First Ever Openly Gay Major League Rugby Player and is dedicated to LGBTQ+ advocacy in sport. He hopes to inspire the next generation of LGBTQ+ athletes and make sport an inclusive space for them. Thatgayrugger.com
Raised in Boston, MA, Devin played for Major League Rugby team, the New England Free Jacks, in their 2019 exhibition season. He won a gold medal while representing Team USA at the 2017 World Maccabiah Games in Israel. He also won the 2018 D1 National Championship with his club team, Mystic River Rugby Club.
When not playing, Devin has coached rugby at Westlake Boys High School in New Zealand, his alma mater Brookline High School and most recently with the Northeast Academy. He holds a degree in sport management and education from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Devin was announced Global Ambassador for International Gay Rugby (IGR) in May 2021. He is now looking towards a career in Public Speaking and Community Engagement.
As of December 2023, Devin joined myGwork as a Customer Success Manager, the largest global business community for LGBTQ+ professionals and inclusive employers.

But it wasn't until after I came out that I realized the power of authenticity from a business perspective and how it could be utilized to build empathy in the workplace. Working full time as a Customer Success Manager with myGwork has allowed me to work directly with organizations to help attract and retain diverse talent and create work enviorments where everyone can be their authentic selves. "

- 06:30 pm Start, drink & nibbles purchased from the bar on the ground floor, bring with you to the room, networking.
- 7:00 pm Talk and Q & A
- 07:30 pm all participants have the opportunity to introduce themselves briefly (i.e. 1-2 minute). Such as: "Hi, I am J-F, Professional with Public Relations, Catering Consultancy & Events experience. I get people together and make it happen!" Short and sweet is always best and guests can ask you questions afterward.
- 8:00 pm Dinner - choose and pay for what you want at the bar, in the brasserie on the ground floor please book in advance so that I can book the table(s), others can remain in the room or join us at the bar.
- 9:30 pm Carriages
