BLEDI presents Fulla! With the new Barbie movie coming around, a certain iconic doll needs the spotlight too; Fulla - come to Bledi in your favourite Fulla-inspired fit - think pink, plastic, and pious.
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Rave, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for ‘My Homeland’) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
Our debut night out will be hosted at VFDalston and showcase a number of QTIBPOC drag performers and DJs. Non-QTIBPOC allies are welcomed and encouraged to pay for the higher entry fee. Reminder that this is a space prioritising QTIBPOC, be aware of the space you are taking. We will be allocating a small number of tickets for people who are low income (priority will be given to refugees and asylum seekers), please email blediparty@gmail.com to arrange this.
There will be a small number of tickets available for £10 on the door after midnight, depending on the venue's capacity.
