ORGANOKE: Karaoke vs the mighty Organ
Sold Out
“I predict a riot” as Organoke returns to St Giles for two nights of joyous singing on Sat 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2024.
ORGANOKE is Karaoke...but not as you know it. It's a crazy, joyful night of communal singing with a live band and the most unlikely of instruments: the mighty church organ. All hosted by Ida Barr (AKA Kit Green). Ida is the first and possibly only Artificial Hip Hop star who has thrilled listeners globally from via Udderbelly to residential care homes, the Speigeltent and Brighton Fringe, stopping off at the Southbank for a bit of bingo.
So what are you waiting for? You “wannabe” having a chat to “Jolene”, “sk8er boi” and the rest of you mates and book tickets for the most joyous night in SE London.
Hey - why not “take your mama“ out?
Organoke is a bonkers idea that was created over a pint as a way to raise awareness and funds for the restoration of the Organ at St Giles. It first premiered at the Camberwell Arts Festival 2016 and before the end of the first song, the congregation was dancing in the aisles.
Profits from Organoke help raise money to restore the organ. Anyone who is a member of the Friends of St Giles gets priority booking for Organoke, with secret access to our booking site before everyone else.
Members also get free tickets to other events and a free drink at the bar.

Age restriction: There is no age limit but be aware this is a busy event with a very popular bar.
