Why is climate change a racial justice issue?
Climate Action Lewisham present this in-person meeting led by Jay Osaghae.
Jay will explain why climate action needs to take into account historical and political contexts including social injustice and racism.
Jay's talk will be followed by discussion on ways that we can start to address racism, injustice and inequality in the ways that we organise to tackle climate change and environmental harm.
Jay Osaghae has a Masters in International Relations from Goldsmiths University, and is passionate about sustainability and climate action including pushing for climate justice.
