🤘★ SMELLS LIKE QUEER SPIRIT ★🤘
🎶 A NEW QUEER ALTERNATIVE NIGHT 🎶
Rockin' Queers and Glass Closet Events would like to invite you for the launch of our new night, Smells Like Queer Spirit. This event is for queers into rock, metal, punk, emo, pop-punk, and anything else under the alternative umbrella. Part social, part dance party, we will have a full bar with our own signature drink and your favourite songs playing throughout the night. This is our first event so it’ll be club vibes but in a bar space. We’re moving to a bigger venue for next time! Stay tuned for details x
As a queer event, we are of course going to highlight queer artists like…
Delilah Bon, Dream Wife, Halestorm, Judas Priest, Olivia Rodriguez, Placebo, Pvris, Scene Queen, & Xana!
We will also be playing favourites and classics such as…
Avril Lavigne, AFI, Ash, Babymetal, Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Disturbed, Electric Callboy, Fall Out Boy, Head Automatica, Hoobastank, In This Moment, My Chemical Romance, Nightwish, Nirvana, Paramore, Pendulum, Prodigy, Rise Against, and Within Temptation.
This event is firmly inclusive of all queer identities with a priority for marginalised folks.
Accessibility: The Glitch has a level floor for the bar, dancefloor, and most seating with an accessible bathroom. There is a second standard bathroom that has level access. A small section of seating will be available throughout the night. The cloakroom and wellness area will be downstairs. If you need assistance to take your coat or bags downstairs, please ask when we scan your ticket. There is an outdoor area just outside the front door on the high street. There will be moving coloured lighting, but no strobe effect.
COVID-19: We encourage folks to test before coming out, and to please stay home if you are feeling unwell.
Last entry: 10 PM
Cloakroom: £2 per person. If you are unable to wear it throughout the night, we ask that for the safety and security of others, as well as out of consideration for disabled folks who need access to seating, you please check your coats/bags. If cost is an issue, speak with a member of the event staff.
Solidarity Tickets: If you are unable to attend due to financial barriers, we have a limited number of free tickets that have been donated to help make this event more financially accessible. You can send us a message via OutSavvy, or contact Artemi, Sierra, or Nyx directly to claim one.
If you would like to contribute towards the solidarity ticket fund, you may purchase the “donate a ticket” option.
The event will go until 1 AM.
