Join Bee & Eliza, founders of Hysterical Collective for a charity skate + sketch social for women & LGBTQ+ skaters at Hop King. This event is part of Hysterical Collective’s cultural program, coinciding with the run of Hysterical Exhibition at Bermondsey Project Space.
- The Event? A 2-hour workshop and open skate, consisting of a 1-hour skate + 1-hour sketch workshop run by Bee Illustrates. Attendees will be split into 2 groups, swapping on the hour. Followed by an optional tour of the exhibition afterwards.
- When? 24th March, 10am - 12pm
- Who’s it for? All skate abilities welcome, this event will be specifically aimed at women + LGBTQ + folks.
- The aim? To create a safe, supportive and judgement-free environment to make friends in the arts and foster community in skateboarding.
- Please bring your own skate kit if you have it, but equipment is available to hire from Hop King if you need!
- All drawing materials will be provided + attendees will receive a complimentary goody bag :)

Funds from ticket sales from this event will be donated to the LGBTQ+ anti-abuse charity Galop.
