Neil Bartlett has had an interesting life. Author, director, playwright, performer, lover, and friend.
From the earliest endeavours as the creator of The 1982 Theatre Company, to his controversial appointment as Artistic Director of the Lyric Hammersmith in 1994 and all the original work of drama and fiction, performance and film in between. And she’s not done yet.To celebrate his 60th year, Fringe! are thrilled to be screening the entire film and video work of Neil Bartlett, including That's What Friends Are For and Pedagogue (1988); excerpts from Bartlett’s six-hour performance of Wilde's magnum opus, De Profundis (2016) as well as rarities such as Now That It's Morning (1991).
