About the author:
Khanyi is a trauma-informed Self Love Coach, Speaker & Author. They have been doing this work for over four years now and it has been the joy of their life. With a BA degree in Psychology, Certificates in Counseling & Life Coaching, as well as an MA in Gender & Peace Building, they have had the amazing opportunity to create practical tools for people to create the most powerful, confident and authentic life they possibly can. But when it comes to coaching, what makes them effective is their personal story. Growing up queer in a religious and traditional household created a person who struggled with self love, self confidence and authenticity. Through their own journey of healing and self discovery, they learned the power that comes with self awareness, self compassion and radical self love. These are the three pillars that she uses in all her coaching programs. Her time is divided between 1:1 coaching programs, group coaching programs, speaking events and writing. Her first book is titled Traveling While Black & Lesbian. This work served as a memoir of herten years traveling through Asia, Central America and the Americas. Her second book You Belong Here: Your Road Map To Confidence, Purpose & Authenticity is a self development book that is designed to help others come to LIFE again and reconnect with what they came here to DO and BE.
