A 1 hour structured creative wellbeing workshop during National Creativity and Wellbeing Week and Mental Health Awareness Week for adults to explore different self-care tips and strategies they can implement using the self-care wheel and several writing prompts to help improve their general mental health and wellbeing whilst navigating these challenging economic times.
Essentially self-care is mostly about taking care of yourself in order to have enough in your cup to pour into others. Many of us struggle for various reasons to grasp the idea of self-care not being selfish.
The participants are encouraged through various writing prompts to explore some simple and effective ways to understand and manage their own self-care to maintain good wellbeing in a welcoming, supportive and inclusive space.
This workshop will help the participants learn more about how to manage everyday stress, how to achieve more balance in their life and how to take care of themselves with more resilience and confidence.
No writing experience necessary.
