Queer Boxing

Want to give boxing a try? Now's your chance!

On Saturday 8th June, in collaboration with our friends at Knockout, Londons' LGBTQ+ amateur boxing club, we'll be running a free introductory boxing lesson, exclusively for queer migrants and queer people of colour.

Located at Sobell Leisure Centre, near Finsbury Park and Holloway Road.
1 hour boxing lesson with a trained instructor from the team at Knockout, including a warmup and cooldown.
All equipment provided, you just need to bring yourself and some comfortable sports clothing.

This event is being run by The Love Tank, as part of the Maureen Project, in partnership with Knockout, London's LGBTQ+ amateur boxing club.

MAUREEN is a project of The Love Tank CIC. The takes a holistic approach to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of queer migrant men and queer men of colour living in London, through research, coproduction, training and a range of events throughout the year. Through the project, participants collectively developed the Queer Roots and Routes podcast, which won the Sexuality and Relationships Independent Podcast Award.
