We are delighted to announce the lineup for the Lost&Found Official Chester Pride Afterparty.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The people behind L&F, Chester's very own dance music night run by and for LGBTQ+ folks (as well as their friends and other open-minded folks) have been throwing parties in Chester since 2017 - and Lost and Found has been running for 18 months. The nights are focussed on awesome all-LGBTQ+ lineups, packing out the fab upstairs space at ThatBeerPlace and welcoming guests from all around the country to play awesome tunes to lovely people and creating a welcoming, friendly dancefloor.
They're stoked to be asked to curate the first Dance Tent at Chester Pride, and have pulled in a top-class lineup from around the UK to share the best in quality club-focussed tunes from across the genres. They'll be running 2-6pm on site, and they'll further showcase their guests with extended sets at the after-party at ThatBeerPlace, running from 8pm-very late indeed.
Lineup:
Wes Baggaley - Bottom Heavy // LDN
Bollibubbles - Reform Radio // MCR
Arondeus & Loss Function - L&F - Nexus // CHR
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Wes Baggaley (Bottom Heavy / LDN)
One of our favourite DJs - we’ve danced to his sets at Panorama Bar in Berlin, Manchester’ White Hotel (solo, but also later on at one of the best b2bs we’ve ever heard with Eris Drew), and at a few events in that London.
“From 2016 to 2024 Wes has played some of the best regarded underground parties across the UK and Europe including the legendary Panorama Bar at Berghain (where the L&F crew heard him play an awesome set), Frankfurt’s esteemed Robert Johnson, Munich’s Blitz and Rotte Sonne, Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow, Horse Meat Disco, Chapter 10, Adonis and many more.
Written features across several leading dance music titles have appeared and Wes has live streamed sets for Mixmag’s The Lab alongside an extremely well received Boiler Room mix. When the Covid 19 pandemic struck Wes did a number of live streams including one for Jerome Hill’s brilliant Don’t label and one for Krake festival, both streamed live from Fold, London. He has also appeared on Berlin’s now legendary Hör and currently holds a long running residency at Bottom Heavy with Dan Beaumont at Dalston Superstore.”

Bollibubbles (Reform Radio / MCR)
Psyched to have Bollibubbles over - been digging their tunes for a while and you’re in for a treat :)
“Bollibubbles is a Manchester based multimedia artist who can always be found dancing in front of the DJ decks when she’s not behind them. She’s a lover of raves and queer rave culture and currently a resident at Reform Radio with her radio show ‘Bouncy Bubbles’. Her favourite genres of music to play are gospel house, Chicago house, Italo, disco, tech house, techno, dance and afrohouse.”

Arondeus & Loss Function (Lost & Found - Nexus / Chester)
Lost & Found and Nexus residents Arondeus & Loss Function were long-time ravers who'd played a few tunes here and there before setting up Nexus, an inclusive techno party, with an awesome crew in Chester in 2017. 5 years of Nexus events followed: over 25 parties and over 70 radio shows - all focusing on brilliant music from DJs and live acts from the local area, as well as from across the country and further afield, platforming under-represented groups, and selling out repeated events and welcoming amazing artists such as Jerome Hill, Manni Dee, Russell E.L. Butler and Blasha & Allatt to Chester. Nexus was featured in DJ Mag, is a core crew of the awesome Community Bread Collective, and was featured in a range of other publications and websites.
Arondeus & Loss Function have played at clubs and festivals all over the country and also further afield, including multiple gigs in Europe (including Stockholm, Bucharest, Berlin and a gig in the northernmost club in the world in Svalbard, Norway). They've got a wide-ranging style - bouncing around from House, Techno, Breaks, Electro, Vogue bangers, and other bits. Their favourite places to play are small, funky, LGBTQ+ spaces - and that's why post-lockdown, Lost & Found was born - with a wider musical policy and focussed on all-LGBTQ lineups for folks from the community, their friends, and other open-minded folks. They've been running L+F parties for 18 months now, packing out the fab upstairs space at ThatBeerPlace and welcoming guests from all around the country to play awesome tunes to lovely people and creating a welcoming, friendly dancefloor.

Tickets are a “Pay What You Can” format starting at £5. If everyone buys £5 tickets, we just about break even after DJ fees, other costs etc. If everyone pays a bit more, we put anything extra into the next party. We at L&F don’t take a cut of any proceeds.
If the ticket cost is stopping you being able to come and dance with us, pop us a message - we have a number of free community tickets available.

L+F Guidelines:
* Be excellent to each other:
We’re very happy that you’ve chosen to rave with us: look after yourself and each other. If you or someone needs help see a party organiser, text us (number available on the night) or find a member of the venue staff. “Ask for Angela” if you need immediate assistance or someone is making you feel uncomfortable.
* Everyone is welcome:
L+F is a queer-run night primarily for LGBTQ+ folks. All are welcome, everyone should be able to party with us and feel comfortable, regardless of gender identification, sexuality, age, background, style or any other trait. If you feel like you are being made to feel unwelcome, or you witness behaviour that is discriminatory, please let a member of the venue staff or the party promoters know.
* No photos / video on the dancefloor please:
Have a dance and talk to people and stuff. There’s people here that might not want to be in your snaps, and videos always turn out rubbish anyway. Some of the best parties we’ve been to have this guideline and it really works. Trust us and try it out
* Don’t be a pain:
Our venue is great and the staff are brilliant. If you do illegal things you are risking their livelihood, licence and jobs – so if we see you taking drugs or being an arse to other people we will ask you to leave
