If you come along, expect to learn what the different parts of the DJ set-up do, how to handle records on and off the turntable, how to beat-match and mix on vinyl. No prior experience required. This event is suitable for 14+.
The dream would be to democratise the practice of DJing from a culture rife with superstars, egos and white men to a horizontal, free space where everyone DJs (so no one is incharge).
The workshop will be hosted by Frolic, a DJ with over ten years of experience behind the decks, having played at many of the major clubs across London, who has recently relocated to Bristol.
All workshops are bookable via the ticket button below.
Or turn up on the day first come first serve basis
The bar and cafe will be open both days with food being served fresh from The Flygerians.
